**In an effort to simplify your beach days while staying at the Duke of Windsor, we are happy to provide 12 beach tags for Ocean Street beach. These tags are required for Cape May beach access for persons ages 12 and older (children ages 11 and under are free) as well as the use of a variety of beach amenities. Keys to the beach storage boxes and beach tags can be found in the kitchen island drawer. Once you have packed for your personal beach needs, head down to the Ocean Street beach access (a ten minute walk from the house). There, you will have the complimentary use of three beach boxes with twelve beach chairs included. Two umbrellas and a Victorian cabana will be set up and ready for your use daily. When you arrive at the beach, check in at the Steger Beach Service concession stand on Ocean Street. They will be able to answer any questions about beach amenities. The beach boxes, umbrellas, and cabana are labeled “Duke of Windsor” with red tags. Ice cold drinks are sold at the concession stand and other equipment can be rented for use if so desired. At the end of the beach day, simply return items to the beach boxes, lock the pads, and bring the keys and beach tags back to the house. We hope that you will find these beachfront amenities convenient! Please enjoy and be safe by following beach and swimming policies, guidelines, and warnings.
"Perfect Cape May Stay"
"My family absolutely loved staying in this gorgeous home! First of all the house is the perfect blend of historic charm with all the modern conveniences. Even though it is large in size, the house felt very cozy. Our favorite place was hanging in the rocking chairs on the front porch. We were amazed at all the places we could easily get to from the great location too!" -Meagan K.
